Furniture Wizard was developed by Marty Fischbein, who has been in the retail furniture, television and appliance industry for over 30 years.
It grew out of his need to eliminate the tedious and time-consuming tasks associated with daily operations – like tagging the sales floor, resolving customer service problems and keeping track of special orders.
Knowing there was a better solution, Marty started a search for an automated system that would be easy to use and for all data that was collected to be quickly available and easily manipulated to provide answers to any problem.
Not finding an answer, Marty set out to develop his own system and today’s Furniture Wizard is the result. Although the software was initially designed for his own use, word quickly spread throughout the local furniture market that Marty had developed a powerful and easy to use program.
Today, Furniture Wizard is being used by over two-thousand large and small retail furniture stores throughout the U.S and abroad. Although the user base is mainly full-line furniture stores, Furniture Wizard also serves wholesale firms in addition to retail stores specializing in a particular niche such as high end upholstery, Oak & Pine shops and Dinette & Mattress specialty stores.
The ease and flexibility of the special order system appeals to all types of furniture retailers. The program is also customized for each using store. Price tags, invoices, purchase orders and other items produced on each store’s printers incorporate that organization’s logo, colors, fonts and graphics.
The program is unique in its use of cutting edge technology. Simple, cost- effective hardware devices such as wireless Bluetooth hand-held scanners and Dymo label printers have become powerful tools used daily by retailers employing Furniture Wizard to make their jobs easier while making more money.
As new technology emerges the developers at Furniture Wizard are constantly searching for new ways to make life easier for all furniture retailers.
